Good Morning, It is Tuesday- and the last day of March! I am missing you all a lot this week. Your energy, the way you hit the top of the doorway every time you enter or exit the classroom, the way you check the clock on the phone(even though there is a bright orange digital clock right in front of you) every time you sign in-out to use the bathroom, your excited chatter at the beginning and end of each class (and during, let’s be honest), your puzzled looks, TikTok moves (sooo many moves-all of the time), entertaining questions, caring exchanges, helpful attitudes, and most of all the way you make me laugh. I am missing YOU!

Keep your emails coming! I am here to help and love hearing from you!
Good morning and welcome to Monday of week 3 of distance learning. I hope you all know how amazingly well you are doing! This was a crazy quick transition to an entirely new way of doing school and you completely rose to the occasion. St. John students are a special bunch!
Your assignments for this week are posted on Teams and on the left side of this page under your grade and class. Be sure to reach out with any questions! I miss out engaging classroom discussions a lot- distance learning just isn’t the same.
Look for emails later in the week with some “zoom” classroom times-
Welp, it is FRIDAY- You have almost made it through week 2, WAY TO GO! None of us could have predicted “distance learning” as a part of your year, huh? I miss you all and will be playing around with teams this weekend to see about the best way to incorporate some more “face-time” into our daily routine.
As you catch up on work today, feel free to email with any questions- we are available to help with anything you need.
FYI- there are still plenty of laptops available to check-out up at school- email us if you could use another device in your house to make on-line learning a little easier.
Good morning- It’s Thursday(I know it is a bit tricky to keep track when every day feels the same🤣)
It has been almost 2 weeks since we started this whole “distance learning ” thing and I am so impressed with how well you have all risen to the occasion- you are checking teacher pages, staying up on assignments, figuring out teams, and getting work submitted. It is impressive!
I also know that there is a lot of uncertainty right now- I would love to hear how you are doing, how are handling it all, and if there is more we can be doing to support you while we are away from the school building. Shoot me an email and let me know how things are going.
ENN meeting today: If you are interested in brainstorming ways to keep ENN going during distance learning, log on to our teams page today at 10:00am and join me for a video chat.
6th, 7th, 8th:
Reminder: your next assignment is due tomorrow, Friday March 27th- please submit your assignment to teams.
Good morning- It was fun to see some of your faces yesterday in our “optional” team video chats. Look for more of those to come in the future as we find the best ways to use this feature to connect and deliver content.
A couple of reminders:
-Submit assignments through teams
– check teams/teacher pages daily for new assignments from teachers
–** Your Bach music quiz is due today, see Mrs. Tsagaliaki’s web page for the link to the quiz
I know some of you are still feeling overwhelmed with keeping up on assignments and staying organized during this transition to “distance learning”- please know we are here to help!! Send us emails, let us know how you are doing! We truly want to support you during this unprecedented time!
